With more than $11 billion in total sales during 2016, Amway offers over 500 products ranging from household goods to clothing to health and wellness supplements and beyond.

But what do you need to know about Amway before you join? What kind of opportunities are available with the company? What about their products?

Amway is a multi-level marketing company that sells a variety of products. Most notably, Amway offers health, beauty, home care and cleaning products along with personal development tools.

Founded in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard DeVos, Amway has grown to become one of America’s largest direct selling companies. The company employs more than 16,000 people in over 80 countries around the world.

Amway is a multi-marketing company which means you have an opportunity to sell their products yourself and earn extra income from home.

Amway does provide some training on how to make money online and earn commission checks.

However, they teach the traditional method for multi-level marketing/ network marketing which is the worst approach to establishing a business.

Amway produces a variety of products which includes household, beauty, personal care, office, jewelry, cleaning products, B2B products for businesses, and many more.

Each product category on its website is easily searchable by keyword. The homepage also lists interesting facts about Amway Corporation as well as links to each product category.

Their product pricing is pretty decent. They are near the market value.

You earn money with Amway by selling products. The more sales you make, the more money you make. Whereas most multi-level marketing companies allow you to earn by recruiting team members onto your team, Amway does not have this option.

If you want to earn through recruitment, you will need to look for another company that offers such an opportunity. With that said, however, it is important to note that there are many ways to build a strong network in Amway.

Just be sure that you’re focusing on sales rather than recruitment if you want to maximize your earnings potential.

Amway uses a one-time $62 IBO Literature Kit fee to open your business. The company does not charge an annual renewal fee, however, it does require you to purchase its products on a regular basis in order to maintain active status.

This means that you must continue purchasing from Amway on a monthly basis in order for your Business subscription to remain active.

If you want to get started with a package that includes products then, the IBO Product Kit Membership Fee of $83.99 is for you.

Amway is not a scam, but it’s also not for everyone. The company does have high-quality products, but that doesn’t mean you’ll make money selling them.

You need to be willing to put in the time and effort to make money with Amway.

Amway is a good company that stands out from other direct selling companies by focusing on both sales volume and product quality. It has been in business for more than 50 years, so you can trust that they know what they’re doing.

However, their compensation plan could use some improvement to incentivize greater recruitment.

Not to mention the small sum of money people make with amway. Roughly about $200 a month.

There is a far more effective technique to build an MLM business of your own.

Using technology, systems, automation, and other things to target people who are already interested in your offer is a much more powerful way to build this type of business.
